The CCC held its annual Golf 101 for Ladies Clinic this Spring. This clinic is designed to teach the building blocks to playing better golf. It starts by teaching putting and chipping and ends with the full swing and tee shots. As we gradually move farther from the green with each lesson, the players receive instruction and get to practice on the course in real course situations. Every lesson ends with a social hour in the clubhouse where we host an open forum for questions. These open forum sessions allow the lesson to be recapped and any questions regarding golf can be asked of the instructors or other participants.
12 ladies participated in the Get Golf Ready program this Spring and will continue to play this summer on Wednesday nights. This new weekly event is more a social event, rather than a golf league. The idea is to spend some time with friends while learning and playing a little golf. Notify the Golf Shop if you would be interested in playing this Summer.
